My focus is within the area of Accessible Yoga - making yoga available to all people, no matter their individual abilities. In particular, I am interested in bringing yoga into hospitals and mental healthcare settings. I am currently leading weekly yoga classes for patients at St. Joseph's Hospital in Toronto.
I completed my 200-hour Certified Yoga Teacher Training in 2011 from Ahimsa Yoga Centre (Toronto) with John-Paul Tamblyn. I have completed two MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) courses and numerous Accessible Yoga workshops on topics such as PTSD yoga, bringing yoga into the hospital, and yoga for stress-related illnesses. Since 2012 I have led "Yoga for Musicians" Workshops at the University of Toronto, Interprovincial Music Camp, and various high-schools throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
